Applying systematic analysis

8 min read

Turning the framework into a repeatable routine: screen, rank, shortlist, review.

Start with a rule, not a name

Systematic work begins with the criteria, never the company. Write down what you want — return on capital above a level, debt below a level, a valuation band — then let the screener produce the list.

Rank, then read

Use a strategy to weight the factors you actually care about and rank the market by your own criteria. The top of that list is a shortlist, not a portfolio.

Open each shortlisted name in its 5D dashboard and read all five dimensions. Anything that only survives on one dimension comes off the list.

Review on a schedule

Keep the shortlist in a watchlist and revisit it on a fixed schedule rather than when headlines appear. The discipline is the point: the same criteria, applied the same way, every time.

Everything here is a tool for structuring your own research. It is not investment advice, and no score is a recommendation to buy or sell.
